The Discerning Reader is a small, family-based work, part of the larger Christian Counterculture Project. We have a strong ministry focus and approach our work more in terms of preaching and teaching than buying and selling. Proceeds from our sales underwrite a number of publishing projects we have on the Web. These projects, like our own book sales, are designed to bring reformation and revival to Christians, and to proclaim the Gospel to non-Christians. (You might describe us as a "not-really-for-profit" type of business. That is, the profit we seek is a spiritual one; not a monetary one.)
