The Smith family has been called of the Lord to plant churches in Papua New Guinea. They assist struggling churches and train Papua New Guineans to do the same through a Bible college ministry. Bill serves as the Field Coordinator and also teaches classes at the Goroka Baptist Bible College. Bill's wife Lori assists him and believes in ministering as a family. She teaches, works in the ladies and children's programs and also works as an R.N. in medical evangelism through their medical clinic. The Smiths have four children: Rachel (age 14), Rebecca (age 12), Ruthann (age 10) and Andrew (age 8). Rachel helps Lori out in the clinic and all of the children consider Papua New Guinea to be their home. Andrew was actually born in Papua New Guinea. As they frequently sign their email updates, they have "No reserves, no retreats, no regrets!
