Our preparation has come a long ways since our last update. Our team members have each stepped up to care for a certain element of the trip.

• Some are prepping lessons and activities for the children. Others are planning through the crafts and games for the kids. 
  
• We will also help with the renovation work on the new building Vida Nueva Church has just
  acquired. For the past many years it has been used as a warehouse. Now it will be a house of praise to Our King. There is a lot of work to be done in remodeling this facility in order to make it ready for it’s new purpose. 
  
• A few of us will be leading breakout sessions at strategic times through the retreat. They will studying, praying and putting those sessions together over the next week.
• Speaking of the retreat, after a wonderful Skype conversation with John Webb (our missionary in the DR) we were led to embrace a new name for the retreat. It will be called “El Cumbre” which means “The Summit”. The retreat grounds are up in the mountains, so this seems like an appropriate title. During that same Skype session we solidified the Retreat itinerary. 
  

Please continue to pray for all the preparations that need to come together before June 8th. Pray also for me as I prepare for the four main teaching sessions describing “The Pursuit of God”.
