The Gospel In Life

Every Sunday
9:00am – 10:15am
Location: 5430 Michigan Blvd., Concord, CA 94521
Category: Community GroupsYou are invited to participate in our community group called, “The Gospel in Life.”
Our focus together will be Acts 2:42, which describes how the Christians of the 1st century were, “…continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” We will meet each Sunday morning at 9:00 am in the Fellowship Hall.
The Gospel in Life small group will be starting a series on Understanding and Dealing with Suffering in our Lives this Sunday, 22-Oct-23 in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00am and we would love for you to join us. This will be an interactive discussion format and we will focus on:
- The origin of suffering
- Categorizing the source of our suffering
- The right perspective to consider when we are suffering
- The right response to suffering
The series will be presented in three parts. We will have prayer and share sessions between each of the three two-week sessions. We will conclude with a wrap up session which will allow us to hear from Dr. Nicolas Ellen as he speaks on this important subject.
Suffering is a reality of life, and we need to be equipped to deal with it when it comes. We need to understand what suffering is and why we experience it and how God intends for us to rely on Him as we encounter it. Whether in our own lives or in the lives of those around us.
There are no books to buy and materials for the series will be handed out as we progress through.
