About Us

Hello! And thank you for stopping by our website. We are a warm church family committed to growing deeper, walking closer and reaching farther. Maybe you are wondering, "What does that mean?" That's a good question worth examining.

Growing Deeper

Our lives in Jesus are never static. We need to proactively pursue an ever growing, deeper walk with Him (John 17:3). Clayton Valley Church is dedicated to helping you know God in a deeper, more intimate way. We are committed to diving into the Bible regularly because of our need for the life-sustaining, joy-producing, soul-restoring work of the Holy Spirit through His Word (Psalm 19:7-8, 119:18).

Walking Closer

We are not designed to walk this life alone; we are made for community. As we come together we gain opportunities for mutual comfort, encouragement and peace (2Cor. 13:11; 1Thess. 5:11). We stir up one another to love and good works (Heb. 10:24-25). We grow in humility together (1Peter 5:5) and make the Gospel more visible in our world (John 13:35). In light of these truths, we are dedicated to enjoying fellowship with one another.

Reaching Farther

Once Jesus overtakes our lives with His grace, we are filled with a desire to share that grace with others (2Cor. 5:18). We purposefully care for our neighbors, family and friends in ways that demonstrate His compassion (Matt. 9:36). We reach out in our everyday lives at work and at home, in our neighborhoods and wherever we go. We also host several key outreach events through the year that aim to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors. We do these things because we are committed to caring for our community with the love of Christ (James 1:27; Matt. 11:28).

Whether you are single, married, a parent or teen, we invite you to join us as we pursue growing deeper, walking closer and reaching farther.
